Fertility

Fertility is closely related to faith. Those who have no faith in God have every reason to despair of the future and have no real reason to have children.
For many years now, secularists have abandoned biological reproduction to focus on their «own development.» However, after refusing to have children from age 20 to 30, they realized with surprise that they are struggling to have one.

But for Christians, God’s plan is important. Furthermore, there is a strong teaching in the Holy Scripture about fertility.

Fertility Is a Blessing

The primary source for knowing God's plan for man is the Bible:
"Be fruitful and multiply" (Genesis 1:27-28).
It is a commandment of God, the first one given to the married couple. It is supported by many other passages, including Gen. 9:1, which occurs after the Flood, and Jeremiah 29:4-6 where God commands his people to «beget sons and daughters,» even though they are in captivity.

The commandments given by God are not burdensome; they bring happiness, that can be already experienced on this earth:
Throughout the Holy Scripture, the birth of children is presented as a blessing and a sign of the covenant between God and the human couple. For example, Moses explains the covenant law like this:
«Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.
And he will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you.
You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you, or among your livestock.» (Deut. 7:12-14) (NKJV)

«And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.
Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.» (Deut. 28:2-4) (NKJV)

«And you will again obey the voice of the Lord and do all His commandments which I command you today.
The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand; in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock and in the produce of your land for good.» (Deut. 30:8-9) (NKJV)

On the contrary:
«15 But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: (...)
18 Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. (...)
32 Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, and your eyes shall look and fail with longing for them all day long; and there shall be no strength in your hand. (...)
41 You shall beget sons and daughters, but they shall not be yours; for they shall go into captivity.» (Deut.28:15-41) (NKJV)

After these statements, we cannot consider children as a burden. All the biblical culture is imbued with this wisdom:
«Behold, Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior. So are the children of one’s youth.
Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them! They shall not be ashamed,
but shall speak with their enemies in the gate.» (Ps.127:3-5) (NKJV)

The Barriers to Fertility

The main obstacles to fertility in Western countries are captivity and propaganda.

Captivity

The Western mentality is now far from the biblical mentality. The judgment of God over the fact that Western societies have rejected God and his Law (see Deut. 28: 32 & 41 above) has a practical consequence: children are no longer under the authority of their parents but under the custody of institutions outside the family, who enslave the children to a foreign ideology.
Western states, in the socialist and fascist tradition, devour people by imposing compulsory taxes, duties and levies. It is thus extremely difficult for a family to live on the husband’s salary alone, this often forces the wife to work outside, which is difficult when they have more than two children. It is even more difficult for parents to educate their children outside the government indoctrination system.

In fact, we are all somehow captive people, trapped in a Malthusian and abusive system.
But for these kinds of situations, God has also given instructions:
«Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, to all who were carried away captive, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem to Babylon: Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruit.
Take wives and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may bear sons and daughters; that you may be increased there, and not diminished.» (Jer. 29:4-6) (NKJV)

When God commands, he also provides the means. Christians know that God’s providence is a reality and that life is a matter of faith.

Propaganda

Malthusians and eugenicists are in power since the 1960s. They hate families, they are admirers of omnipotent states, they promote abortion and contraception, and they organize the corruption of young survivors.
They claim that the earth is full and it is unable provide food for more men on earth: it’s the myth of overpopulation. The foolishness of this myth has already been amply demonstrated before. This does not prevent the UN and the small brained politicians to continue to believe in it and try to depopulate the world.

Another line of propaganda is the devaluation of parenting: women who devote themselves to educating their children are regarded as "vegetables" and would not benefit from the «development» provided by paid (and heavily taxed) employment. This propaganda has two objectives: extort families even more severely and enslave their children.

Christians should not follow these stupid beliefs or the policies arising from them.

Consequences of Fertility

If God defines fertility as a blessing, it is so because it is part of the construction of his Kingdom.
It is through biological multiplication that Christians are most effective in evangelization, provided they control the education of their own children and not entrust them to those who work against the faith.
For example: in Evangelical circles, Billy Graham is known as an extraordinary evangelist. He preached the Gospel to 100 million people worldwide, with a success rate of 1%. The result of his big-budget endeavor and a lifetime of work is the conversion of a million people, and there are few people like Billy Grahams.
In a Christian family of 5 children, if parents educate them as Christians, the children will keep the faith and pass it on. If, unfortunately, 40% of children reject the faith, 60% still remain, that means 3.
Therefore, it can be concluded that if we only take 1 million families, that means 3 million Christians for the next generation. More than Billy Graham.

It is the primary means that God gives us to perform the prayer he taught us:
«Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.» (Matthew 6:10) (NKJV)

And He is here to help us: «And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all the things that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”» (Matt. 28:18-20) (NKJV)
